How to Order Extruded Gaskets

Multi-Point VI extruded gaskets are identified by a 10-digit part number (6XX6-XXXX-XX).

To order:

1. Using the Selection Guide, fill in the 2nd and 3rd digits to identity the elastomer and its corresponding conductive particle.
2. The 4th digit is always 6 to identity Extruded Gasket.
3. Leave the 5th and 6th digits as XX. CSI will assign a number indicating nominal size after the design is finalized.
4. Use the 7th digit to identity cross-section shape:
      1 Round, solid
      2 Round, hollow
      3 "D" shape, solid
      4 "D" shape, hollow
      5 "P" shape, hollow
      6 Rectangular, hollow
      7 "C" shape, solid
      8 Rectangular, solid
5. Leave the 8th digit as X. CSI will assign a number.
6. Use the 9th and 10th digits to identify the Shore A durometer of the elastomer from the Selection Guide.

Example:
To order Multi-Point VI-SPN extruded gaskets, fluorosilicone elastomer, with hollow "P" shape wall cross-section; order 6426-XX5X-60.
